All About Maintain Independence
Maintain Independence Occupational Therapy is based in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales and we service the Byron Bay, Lismore, Ballina, Tweed Heads and southern Gold Coast regions. We also service the Southern Highlands region of NSW. We are a multi-service Occupational Therapy business focusing on the detailed needs of each client and the unique requirements that will enable our clients to begin or continue independent living in all stages of life. We offer a welcoming and collaborative work environment for our therapists and we are passionate about attracting, developing, and retaining our great team.
We have more recently expanded our services into the Southern Highlands of NSW.
Our Services Include
- Therapeutic supports to assist clients with capacity building, development of routines, and individualised goal achievement.
- Independent and functional living skills assessment and comprehensive reports thatinclude recommendations.
- Housing and Support Needs Assessments, including Specialist Disability Assessment (SDA), Supported Independent Living (SIL), and Individualised Living Options (ILO).
- Providing therapy and support to clients in their home and/or local community.
- Prescription and implementation of appropriate assistive technology and home modifications.
